Delaware River
The Delaware River is
over 410 miles long and constitutes in part the boundary between New York and
Pennsylvania. The Delaware River is also
the only major undammed
river east of the Mississippi. The East and West branches of the
Delaware River meet at Hancock, N.Y. From there the river extends about 330
miles till it reaches the mouth of Delaware Bay.

The
pristine water of the Delaware River provides ideal habitat for a great
variety of fish species and is well known for it's abundant fishing
opportunities. The Delaware River features great fishing for american
shad, brown trout, rainbow trout, smallmouth bass, walleye, and striped bass.
A valid New York or Pennsylvania fishing license is required for all anglers,
age 16 and older, on the Delaware River between NY and PA when fishing from a
boat or from either shore.
